Default Amusing Solo Necro build

I tested it in various locations, and I can actually solo groups that do not have any healing. I tried it in places that DO have healers, and I could sit there for hours and survive without any difficulties, but could NOT kill anything because of the healers...maybe the build has some potential as part of a 2-man team or something

[card]unholy feast[/card][card]reversal of fortune[/card][card]mending touch[/card][card]vigorous spirit[/card][card]vampiric spirit[/card][card]balthazar's spirit[/card][card]essence bond[/card][optional]

Blood - 16
Healing - 12

Usage:
Cast the 2 maintained enchants. Before entering battle, cast vigorous spirit and Vampiric spirit. During battle, continuously spam reversal of fortune and mending touch to trigger vampiric spirit. Use unholy feast whenever possible, and always refresh vigorous spirit and vampiric spirt as needed.

Obvious weaknesses include:
Monk or Ritualist healer monsters in the group
enchant removal
dazed (suggest [card]plague touch[/card] in the optional slot)

Why not add vampiric swarm to this? You can actually use a really offensive blood build to kill the stone-kirins with that elite, and the lifestealing idea.

You're missing the whole point of the build: spamability

Vampric Swarm costs a lot of energy to cast (increased by 3 due to Vampiric Spirit), and takes 3 seconds to cast.

I picked reversal of fortune and mending touch for 3 reasons: low energy cost, low recharge time, and very fast cast time.

And incidentally, you can kill Stone-Scale Kirins with this build...one of the places I tested in was Pongmei valley.

You may die vs Scarabs in the Crystal Desert, but only if you get swarmed (stupid Chilblains).

Fire Island may give you trouble too (golems and Dryders).

Have you tried dropping Unholy Feast and Vigorous Spirit for Opressive Gaze and Enfeebling Blood?

Weaken those monk's healing, weaken those who attack you, steal life from them all (I think they are both spamable too).

Before I completely give up on necromancers I am goign to try this out and work on it as it seems to have potential. I like what you are getting at. Only problem is new nerfs might have killed this build off before it even started lol. If I find htis build has as much potential as it seems I might even not give up on necromancers Ill have to see.

Anyway Ill get back to you on what I find and whether I get anywhere with it.

Withotu even trying anything out I was thinking maybe to counter healers you could try mark of subversion, but with its long recharge time I cant see how this helps much. You could also try adding mark of pain but that owuld mean you would have to bring in curses and mark of pain seems to be too expensive for the build.

Or if you could do without monk secondary have signet of suffering and a lvl 5 pet get the pet to die go in and spam signet of suffering.

This is similar to my Blood PvE build... its just a fun blood spike build that does random hits from Vamp spirit...

Interesting idea for farming... so you can survive with full health, and just spamming? I'll give it a try..

cheers.

Default shmexy build

I've been having fun with this build, so thanks for posting it.

Stonescale Kirin and Vermin drop very easily.

I did make a couple changes though ...

Instead of healing I invested into protection ... why waste a RoF?

instead of mending touch I too dismiss condition ... also cost of 5, recharge is only 3, and I get the bonus healing whether I remove a condition or not.

I took vigorous spirit still ... just for the spammability ... although Im looking for a better skill to take.

For the optional I took shield of absorption ... 6 seconds of near invulnerability is great for recharging energy if it gets low.

build = unholy feast, RoF, dismiss condition, SoA, vigorous spirit, VS, Essence Bond, Balthazar's Spirit

When playing I've found that the amount of time it takes for SoA to wear off followed by RoF, dismiss, RoF, allows Unholy Feast to recharge. repeat. Additionally during the effects of SoA I can recast VS, and recharge energy as necessary.

The enfeebling/oppressive gaze comment sounded cool, but the 2 second cast killed me when dealing with any more than 3 Kirin at a time, using the build above I could take 2 groups of kirin and a couple undergrowths in mix.

My 2 cents,
